Band name

The band I'm a part of is coming along really well. So far we've got about 5 or 6 original songs that we're working on. What we don't have is a name.

So, does anyone have any good ideas for a name? :-D

Well I don't know what kind of band this is, but as I was deliriously foraging through my fridge the other day a thought occurred to me, that Shredded Cheddar sounded like a name for a not-too-serious metal band. Just a thought.

^ HAHA!

I did one of those tag things that my friends are forever telling me to do. The question was to take your pet's name and the name of your street and put them together and that was supposed to be your rockstar name. Most people were coming up with like "Fluffy Oak" and "Precious North" and crap like that. I got "Shadow Smith" which I thought was pretty cool. Sounds all dark and mysterious.
Anyways, just a thought. You could try that. Or you could steal mine. I'd probably come back later and sue you for the rights when you're famous, but you know ;) Just kidding, just kidding!

Yay! I'm glad to hear it's going so well. :-)

Hmm...Band names. You don't happen to have that list of suggestions I gave you when we were on the Apologia forum, do you? I know one on the list was Unveiled (or Unveiled Faces) from a verse in...1 Corinthians, I think. And Transformed from that same verse...Oh, and 99+1...there's Miraclized...

Anyway...Not sure how good those are, but I thought I'd throw them out there. :-)

So your band isn't Off-kilter any more? I knew you had some different people, but I didn't realise you were changing the name.

Wow, that's great!

Unfortunately, I can't think of any good names. :-(

Guitargirl, that's hilarious! My pet finch's name is Mr. Darcy. . . I'm not sure how "Mr. Darcy" would sound in a band name. . .

guitargirl: Ooo, I DO like "Shadow Smith"! Do you have any other band names tucked away in the recesses of your mind?

WildWeazel: Haha, Shredded Cheddar! Nice, if I ever decide to go metal I'll try to remember that name. :-D

NotMyOwn: I think I lost that list. :-( Sorry.

Briar: No, it's not "Off-Kilter" anymore. Well, it IS a completely different band from the first one - different style, different band members (except for three of them: me, Joe and Matthew).

Joe isn't part of it.

Oh geez. The recesses of my mind. I dunno. There's a lot of useless stuff in there that I'd have to sort through first o.O LOL! JK.
I'm not sure. I've tried to think of band names before, but I've already decided that I'm not going to try to start a band until I save up enough to get that epiphone that I really want; so I never had much motivation until now.
I did just think of something tho: I was just going through some X-Files DVDs last night and saw "Mind's Eye" and "Humbug" and "Kill Switch" as titles. Thought that was kind of cool, though I'm pretty sure there's already a band out there called "Kill Switch Engage" or something like that :/ Curses, foiled again!

What about 'The Cosmosophers'? You could also try looking up old, obscure words(Like 'sparsile') on the phrontistery website: http://phrontistery.info/index.html
