Now that it's done, I'm glad I did it. Playing acoustic rythym on an electric guitar doesn't quite do it. DESPITE the fact that I used my >>credit card<< to purchase the aforementioned strings (must not use it until I pay it off!), I find it hard to regret my decision. At least by cleaning the fretboard myself and not buying the special fluid saved me another NZ$16.00, though lemon juice doesn't polish the wood like the LEMON OIL was meant to (I think). Oh well, I didn't want to get grease on the strings anyway.

Nice one Adam.
Haha, you're good, I've never cleaned my guitars!
Well, I thought that as I was going to re-string it, I might as well clean the fretboard. I don't think it'd been cleaned for a while before I got it.
Glad you got your guitar back in working order :) I would die if something happened to mine o.O lol.
Yay! I'm so glad you were finally able to get your guitar repaired. :-) I had been wondering whether you had gotten a new one, fixed the old one, or were just doing without an acoustic guitar - I bet you're glad to have it back.
Speaking of broken guitars, check out this great video:

Hahahaha! Oh dear, that's rich...good on them for hitting the airline in the best way they can. :-D
NotMyOwn: I am VERY glad to have it back! I missed it a lot. I make all my best chord progressions on it, for some reason. And it's nice not to have to plug something in whenever I want to just muck around, like I had to with my electric.
