The beginning of the end

Yes, my semester is coming to a close, which means...HOMEWORK, TESTS, IMPENDING ASSIGNMENTS AND LAB REPORTS. Happy days. Still, a month's worth of break is pretty decent; should be long enough to recuperate from study.

I think that I've discovered two vital factors to writing a song in 30 minutes: one, the better you relate to the lyrics you're writing, the easier you can write them, and two, caffeine hyper-stimulates you enough to be motivated to finish writing it. Now all I have to do is match it to a melody.

Can you all please pray for my health? I've been feeling a bit off today, and with exams coming up fast, I really don't want to be sick. Thanks :-)

That's some good songwriting advice :) But... it does kinda make me wonder about the guy who wrote "Mary Had a Little Lamb" :P

Praying for ya! :-D

Yeah me too. Hey, if you're stuck for a melody, email it to me and I'll have a go, you can always do you're own idea if you don't like it. ;)

4 weeks break? Lucky. I got a massive final project and after that a mere 2 weeks before being thrown in the deep end of year 2 :P

Only two weeks. Gee... :-(

You're in my prayers! And I'll be praying for your studying/test-taking as well as your health. ;-)

Too bad there isn't a safe way for you to share the lyrics you're writing on your blog (if you'd even be willing to share them with us, that is)...

If I shared them, I'd run the risk of someone using them for their own purposes, unfortunately.

And we couldn't have that!

No way!

Oh, I know! Sorry, I wasn't asking you to share them on your blog - I was lamenting the fact that it wouldn't be safe for you to post them. ;-)
